As reported by Lyndsey Michaels, later that same day, one of the afternoon workshop sessions was a discussion on how best to help SMEs network and keep up to date with the massive changes the industry is experiencing right now. A major point was that SME’s rarely have the financial and human resources to attend such conferences in person and as a result, may not have the opportunities to influence policy and infrastructure that the bigger players can easily afford to capitalise on.
